ABOUT THE ZINE
“SIDETRACKED: An Infinity Train Fanzine” is a zine consisting of art, writing, and merch produced by and for fans of the show Infinity Train.
The zine will be separated into three "chapters", one for each season of the show, and each chapter will focus on character relationships and growth. Both physical and digital copies will be available to purchase, as well as limited quantities of merch.
The organizers of this zine are in no way affiliated with HBOMax or Cartoon Network, and is an entirely fan-based project that earns no financial compensation.
Any funding will go towards printing and shipping and no profit will be kept. All funds made during the pre-order period past those needed for producing physical copies will go towards The Okra Project. Any money made after that will be distributed to various oranizations on a monthly basis via our publisher.

❔ What is the theme of this zine?
The zine will be separated into three "chapters", one for each season of the show, and each chapter will focus on character relationships and growth.
❔ Will I be paid as an artist?
SIDETRACKED is not a for-profit zine. Artists will recieve a free digital copy of the zine, and possibly other non-monetary benefits.
❔ What's expected of me as a MAIN ARTIST? How many are you accepting?
Our main artists will handle all of the internal artwork for the zine.
We currently estimate to accept 30 main artists, though more or less may be selected based on the volume of applications. Three of these artists will be asked to handle the "chapter covers", which will divide the zine into sections based on the show's three seasons. An additional artist may be selected for the main cover artwork (front and back).
❔ What's expected of me as a MERCH ARTIST? How many are you accepting?
Merch artists will handle designing and drawing physical products to go along with the zine, including stickers, charms, and prints! We will be accepting 12 artists for a set amount of merch, but these artists will also be able to contribute spot illustrations for writers if they wish.
❔ What's expected of me as a WRITER? How many are you accepting?
Due to a limited demand for writers, only three will be selected for this zine. Writers will have a maximum of two pages for their fic (approx. 1-2k words of novel-style prose, no poetry) and the opportunity to collaborate with an artist for splash art.
❔ Can I submit traditional art?
If you are capable of producing a high-quality, properly formatted scan, yes! Please let a mod know if you're thinking of submitting traditional art and need help with formatting.
❔ I saw artist apps for a different Infinity Train Zine, can I apply to both?
We are not connected to or affiliated with any other concurrently running zines, but we wish them luck! Whether or not you have applied to another Infinity Train zine will have no impact on your chance of getting picked for SIDETRACKED.

❔ What's the zine format?
SIDETRACKED will be available to purchase both as a digital copy and as a physical 8.5 x 11" booklet alongside various merch.
❔ Where can I pre-order?
Pre-orders will be done through the Mobius Strip Club storefront. Pre-orders won't be happening for a while, so check out the other cool zines there in the meantime!
❔ Where will the money go?
SIDETRACKED is a charity zine and nothing will be kept for profit. Any funding will go towards printing and shipping and no profit will be kept. Anything made past what is needed for producing physical copies during the month of pre-orders will go towards the charity of our choice, The Okra Project. Any money made after that will be distributed to various oranizations on a monthly basis via our publisher.
